Carol Robinson joined Oregon Health Forum in March 2006. As Executive Director, she is responsible for the direction of all educational programs of OHF. Carol is a long-time community volunteer, leading local school measures in Beaverton, and serving on advisory boards for several organizations, including New Leadership Oregon at Portland State University. She has worked in public relations, development, legislative policy and grassroots organizing roles in the non-profit realm in Oregon. Carol has four children in high school and college.

Rhonda Morin is the new editor of Oregon Health News. She’s the former editor of a New England college publication, Thomas Magazine, and an associate editor for a national computer-trade publication. Morin has also served as a communications executive for Maine Public Broadcasting Network and Thomas College in Maine. She is an emergency medical technician and has experience and interest in wilderness rescue and medicine, and women’s reproductive health. Morin holds a bachelor’s in journalism from the University of Maine and a master’s in women’s studies from Eastern Michigan University.

Melanie Miller is Oregon Health Forum’s office manager, and she joined the organization in October 2005. Her responsibilities include bookkeeping, maintaining the client database, processing payments, and assisting in planning events. She has a certification in bookkeeping from Elliott Bookkeeping School. Before moving to Portland, she lived in Ohio, California and, for a short time, Japan.

Jennifer Smith, communications and media director, joined Oregon Health Forum in July 2004. She is responsible for program coordination alongside the Executive Director, including auxiliary planning of OHF's annual conference, leadership awards dinner, and student scholarship program. She also designs promotional and event materials, maintains the Web site and participates in numerous planning committee meetings. Jennifer is also a contributor to Oregon Health News and is responsible for layout of the publication. She earned her journalism degree, with an emphasis in advertising, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Anne Morrill joined Oregon Health News as editorial assistant in May of 2007. Her responsibilities include facilitating in the editorial process and fact checking for the newsletter. Anne earned her graduate degree in anthropology with a focus on women’s access to health care from Portland State University in 2008. Before coming to Oregon, Anne attended Elmira College in Elmira, NY where she earned a degree in Anthropology and Sociology in 2005.

Kennedy Smith is the news reporter for Oregon Health News. She is the former manager of membership and public outreach for the Multnomah Bar Association. Prior to that, she was a reporter for Portland's Daily Journal of Commerce. Smith served as the associate editor of Quality Digest, a national trade publication based in Northern California. She has also written for Oregonlive.com, Fresh Cup Magazine in Portland, BuilderNews Magazine in Vancouver, Wash., Policy Today in San Francisco, and daily newspapers in Redding and Chico, California. She earned a bachelor's degree in English and linguistics from California State University, Chico, and lived for a short time in London, where she studied English literature, theater, art and culture. Her hobbies include writing short fiction and knitting.
